WHY EMPOWHER?
empowHER is a transformative Social Movement that was founded in 2020.
The team embrace a commitment to show women, men and children of all ages, from all walks of life the tools we, ourselves, have used to enable us to heal and grow from trauma in search of the best versions of ourselves.

The title may trick you into thinking this is a movement for women, however empowHER describes the control our founder Michelle took back over her life to step into her power.
Michelle, impart her lived experience to others showing steps she herself took on her journey from fear to freedom. The tools she used to release guilt, shame and self-loathing and the methods she developed that she uses daily to maintain the quality of life that was once only a dream.

empowHER was borne from Michelle's passion to help others heal or even avoid the pain, hurt and trauma she found had enveloped her world.
But, her ultimate goal has extended into creating a world free of abuse of any type.

What started as hope has developed into a social movement facilitating and advocating for change that carries real impact.

LOTUS
The significance of the Lotus Flower
The Lotus flower is regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth.
Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower.
And although there are many other flowers that bloom in above the water, the lotus flower is the only one that usually rises 12 inches, which symbolizes strength.
