Michelle is a powerful catalyst for change, after undergoing her own personal transformation in order to live a fulfilling life, she founded empowHER WA Incorporated, to inspire women, men and children to break the cycle of abuse.

Michelle is dedicated to using her lived experience to promote the healing, growth and empowerment of women, men and children alike and to bring happiness into the lives of many.

After experiencing abuse of varying forms, Michelle found herself completely broken, struggling to cope and in a deep and dark hole. In 2010, she turned to Dru Yoga and Meditation as a means of easing her stress and anxiety going on to complete a Diploma in Dru Yoga, enabling her to share the skills and lessons she had learned amongst others.

In 2019 she released her book “Freedom of A Warrior Princess” a story of her journey to self-love, in the hope her own vulnerability could impact the lives of others who had suffered through similar circumstances and/or relationships. Through her personal development work, management and facilitation of programs and workshops, Michelle has become a highly sought-after Personal Coach, Mentor and Key Note Speaker.

On stage, Michelle inspires audiences with her story of transformation from fear to freedom, delivering her message from her heart and a place of lived experience allows her to assimilate with the audience, encouraging them to look within and strive towards becoming the most authentic version of themselves.

Michelle holds Diplomas in Counselling, NLP, Hypnotherapy, Dru Yoga, Meditation, and a Degree in Business Administration.

HEALING HOMES

We are set to embark on an amazing project that will provide transitional housing for women and their children, while they concentrate on healing and growing.  These homes will be built from refurbished shipping containers and fitted out and furnished with recycled materials wherever possible.

The first step will be to raise the funds required to purchase or lease land and acquire shipping containers and materials.

Can you help? If so, please reach out.

THRIVE

A Mobile App providing domestic violence resource contacts; a space to form a safety/exit plan; an area to keep personal records/documents securely; and an auto-record function and a one-button 000 call for safety.

All this and so much more, we are excited to be partnering with tech students and others as we build this application to be rolled out through all Domestic Abuse resources first in Western Australia and then beyond.

FLOURISH

A warehouse storing everything from the initial urgent needs, to school uniforms and supplies through to furniture and household items to start over.  Have ready-made packs for refuges to distribute to clients.

Not only are we looking for a physical warehouse to store goods but this initiative will roll out as a "virtual warehouse" where goods can be listed and our clients can "shop" directly.

Do you have a warehouse, donations or the ability to transport goods?

FUNDING / SPONSORSHIP/
PUBLICITY

We can't do this alone, have you been affected by domestic abuse or family violence in any way, whether it be personal, a friend or a family member.  This is your chance to show your support.

Every little bit counts, your donations will cover the costs of helping victims obtain the personal development programs they need free of charge.

Whilst we will be applying for funds from different sources we would love for you to show your support via goods donation, monetary donations or your love and time.

Our work is never done, we can use all the help we can get. One of the ways you can take part is by Volunteering.  Whatever your superpower, we need you!

By simply sharing your expertise you have the ability to motivate others and inspire true change.

We have many different opportunities for volunteers, from collection and delivery of goods, to assisting at events and workshops or providing a sympathetic ear to those in need.

Be Part of Something Great!
Active participation is an essential part of our movement’s success.

Our movement is starting from the grass roots.  Are you passionate about helping women make good relationship choices, re-educating victims so they don't fall into the cycle of abuse; teaching young girls and teens the value of self-respect to avoid being controlled by a partner?  Whatever you feel in your heart we would love to hear from you, click below for our Partnership / Sponsorship needs package.
